BECOME A CONTESTANT IN OUR
2022 MISS CABARRUS COUNTY PAGEANT
(Open to Cabarrus, Rowan, Mecklenburg, Anson, Randolph, Union, Gaston,
December 4th, 2021
On behalf of the Miss Cabarrus County committee, we invite you to become a contestant in our 2022 Miss Cabarrus County Scholarship Pageant to be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2021. A reception and production rehearsal will be held on prior to the pageant (time and date TBA) at Let's Dance Studio for Miss/Outstanding Teen contestants along with their Carolina Princesses and a final rehearsal on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 beginning at 6:00pm.
The Miss America Organization is one of the nation's leading achievement programs and the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. Our Miss Cabarrus County pageant, a forerunner to Miss North Carolina and Miss America, gives you the opportunity to experience the spirit of competition and personal growth, along with giving you a sense of personal pride and accomplishment that comes with community service.
Our pageant is open only to young women who live, work or attend school in Cabarrus County, Rowan County, Mecklenburg County, Stanly County, Randolph County, Union County, Gaston County, Lincoln County, Catawba County & Davidson County. We accept young women whose age is 18 and no older than 26 years of age on December 31st the year she could be chosen to represent her state in the National Finals.. Our Miss Cabarrus County & Cabarrus County Outstanding Teen winners will travel to High Point for the Miss North Carolina and North Carolina Outstanding teen pageants in June, 2022.
MISS COMPETITION -
The areas of competition will include:
Private Interview, Talent (90 seconds), Red Carpet/ Social Impact Statement, and On-Stage Question.
No two contestants can perform the same song, so talent request will be on a first request priority. Please call me as soon as you know your talent selection. You will need to write a 200 to 300 word essay on a community service platform you plan to promote if selected 2022 Miss Cabarrus County.
Photo: You will need to send jpeg black and white 5 x 7 head shot photo to misscabarruscounty@gmail.com as soon as possible. Final Deadline for photos is Wednesday, November 17th, 2021.
Paperwork: Please email misscabarruscounty@gmail.com for contract and paperwork. Miss/Outstanding Teen Contestant Paperwork is due NO LATER THAN Wednesday, November 17th, 2021.
FINAL deadline for all advertising information for program book must be received no later than Wednesday, November 17th 2021.
